This is the idea behind Violin Love, a concert coming to the extraordinary Sala dei Giganti at Palazzo Liviano in Padua on 13 November 2026, featuring violin soloist Elvin Dhimitri, accompanied by string quartet and piano.
Beethoven — Love in Its Purest Form
No journey through the language of the violin would be complete without Ludwig van Beethoven. His Romance for Violin is one of those pieces that seems to suspend time. And then everything changes. With Astor Piazzolla comes rhythm. Libertango is energy, tension and sensuality. Even its title suggests transformation: a fusion of “libertad” and “tango”, symbolising the new musical direction taken by the Argentine composer.
After Beethoven’s romanticism and Morricone’s nostalgia, the violin reveals another side of itself — more physical, more instinctive. Love is no longer simply a feeling. It becomes passion.

Violin Love in Padua
This musical journey will be interpreted by violin soloist Elvin Dhimitri, accompanied by string quartet and piano. But there is another protagonist of the evening: the setting.
