The personal data you provide by filling in the form shall be treated in compliance with the conditions laid down in Article 6 of the EU Regulation 2016/679, for the sole purpose of contacting you through the contact details submitted through the form “Contact us” in the “Information” section of each page of our website, and by using the addresses and contact details indicated in the website to fulfil any requests contained in the messages or e-mails referring to “Customer care” and “Job positions” that you send us at: candidatureopera@gmail.com, and consequently to provide you with the information you requested or send notifications related to the service. The website redirects the data entered in the form to the Data Controller’s e-mail address indicated in this notice.

The personal data you provide by filling in the form dedicated to data collection in specific sections for the purpose of direct marketing, subject to your prior consent and until you withdraw your consent, shall be treated in compliance with the conditions laid down in Article 6 of the EU Regulation 2016/679 for market research, direct sale, newsletters, and sending promotional, commercial and advertising material or information regarding events and initiatives through automated e-mailing. The Data Controller uses corporate reporting systems for newsletters and promotional messages, to compare and improve the results of the communication strategy. Reports enable the Data Controller to know the number of readers, the number of people who opened a page, the number of unique clickers and clicks; the devices and operating systems used to read the news; details on the activity of individual users; details on e-mails sent, received, undelivered, and forwarded. All the above mentioned data are used for the purpose of comparing and improving the results of our communication strategy.

Meeting the applicable accounting, tax and administrative obligations.

The legal basis for processing is the legitimate interests of the controller or of a third party, except where such interests are overridden by the interests, fundamental rights and freedoms of the data subject which require protection of personal data, taking into account the reasonable expectations of the data subject based on their relationship with the Data Controller.

The legal basis for processing is the legitimate interest/request by the data subject/implementation of pre-contractual measures taken in response to the data subject’s request (Article 6 paragraph 1 letter ‘b’ of GDPR) submitted via email through the “Contact us” form in the “Information” section of each page of our website, or by using the contact details indicated in the website.

The legal basis for processing is the request by the data subject/consent given by registering in the website (Article 6 paragraph 1 letter ‘a’ of GDPR)/implementation of contractual obligations.

- Direct Marketing
The legal basis for processing is the consent given by registering in the newsletter service (Article 6 paragraph 1 letter ‘a’ of GDPR).
- Application for the Opera Singing Competition
The legal basis for processing is the request by the data subject/consent (Article 6 paragraph 1 letter ‘a’ of GDPR) given by registering via email to the address: direzioneartistica@opera-lirica.com/implementation of contractual obligations.

 

RECIPIENTS OR CATEGORIES OF RECIPIENTS

The personal data provided can be accessed only by personnel authorised by the Data Controller. The recipients of personal data will handle the data as Controllers (Article 28 of the EU Regulation 2016/679) and/or as individuals who operate under the authority of the Data Controller or Data Processor (Article 28 of the EU Regulation 2016/679) for the above mentioned purposes.

Aside from the cases described above, personal data will not be shared, except with subjects, Bodies or Authorities as required by EU or National Law or Regulations.

 

RETENTION PERIOD FOR DATA OR CRITERIA FOR DETERMINING THE PERIOD

Your personal data will be both manually and automatically processed with tools suitable to guarantee your security and privacy. In particular, in accordance with Article 5, paragraph 1, letter ‘e’ of the EU Regulation 2016/679, the personal data provided will be kept in a form which permits identification of data subjects for no longer than it is necessary for the purposes for which the data are processed. After that time, data shall be stored for the period in which the Data Controller is subject to legal obligations to retain the data for tax purposes or other purposes in compliance with applicable law or regulations (for the navigation on the website, the retention period is the duration of the navigation session/for filling in the contact data collection form, and consequently for sending emails, the data retention period is one year/for reservations and purchases, with or without registration in the website, the retention period is 10 years/for marketing purposes, the retention period is until you withdraw your consent/for the application for the opera singing competition, the retention period is 10 years from the end date of the competition). Personal data will be stored in a magnetic file, by adopting protection measures to guarantee correct storage and use. Specific management and storage systems will protect personal data from removal or alteration.

Aside from what specified for navigation data, whose provision is necessary for the navigation on the website, the User is free to provide their personal data.
