St Paul's within the Walls Church
ST. PAUL'S WITHIN THE WALLS CHURCH
Rome Opera Concert Hall – Rome Opera Festival
The charm of the music performed in a sacred place reaches a level of intense and enchanting emotions that go beyond words, if the music is the Italian opera and the sacred place is St. Paul within the Walls, opening its doors every day to hundreds of visitors.
The 19th-century church of St. Paul within the Walls is an Anglican church located in the city centre of Rome and it has always hosted classical music performers and singers because of its fine acoustics. Built in 1873, it was the first non-Catholic Roman church to be built inside the walls of Rome.
The Church’s atmosphere becomes utterly magic at night, when the moonlight pierces through the rose windows and the candles enlighten the nave in a religious silence. Abandon yourself to the beauty of our concerts in a suggestive atmosphere.
An incredible intimate experience in the heart of the eternal city, at the border between past and future.
