SOLO PIANIST: Emanuele Misuraca
Emanuele Misuraca is an Italian pianist, composer, and music producer. Born in Palermo in 1996, he began his concert career at the age of 11. He later graduated with top honors from the “G. Verdi” Conservatory in Milan under the guidance of Maestro Vincenzo Balzani. He has won several national and international piano competitions, including the “Monterosa Kawai” Prize and the International “Mozart” Prize in Rome. In 2011, at just 15 years old, he performed his first concert with orchestra at the prestigious Wiener Konzerthaus in Vienna, conducted by Maestro Tiziano Duca. In March 2015, he won his category at the “Premio del Conservatorio G. Verdi” in Milan. As a result, he was invited to perform at the Hungary Pavilion of Expo 2016; the concert was broadcast live on television in Hungary and in cities such as New York, Toronto, and Tokyo. In 2018, he was invited to perform at an event organized by the Pope at the Vatican, on the occasion of the Synod of Youth. The event, held in the renowned Paul VI Hall, was also broadcast live on television. In the same year, he played the role of Domenico, a young and talented pianist, and one of the seven protagonists in the famous Italian TV series “La compagnia del Cigno” on Rai 1. From 2019, he began focusing on composition, particularly music for visual media. He later won the “Excellentissimus” award, presented to him by the renowned composer Ennio Morricone. Starting in 2020, he began collaborating with the record label “INRI CLASSIC”, subsequently releasing four piano singles. In May 2024, he was awarded the “Famiglia Molteni Canepa” scholarship as part of the prestigious “Città di Cantù” Competition for piano and orchestra, earning an invitation to perform at Sala Verdi in Milan with the Bacău Philharmonic Orchestra. Currently, alongside his concert activity, he is dedicated to teaching piano and composing. Since March 2025, he has also been President and Artistic Director of the music association Sonorum.
