Under the expert guidance of Opera e Lirica's First Violin, Maestro Elvin Dhimitri, a refined ensemble of strings and harpsichord will perform a unique repertoire of opera arias, elegant baroque music, and lively tarantellas.
Let yourself be transported to distant eras: the singers, dressed in splendid costumes, will lead you through the sumptuous traditions of Carnival, in a whirlwind of joy, art, and melody.
Everything will take place in in a true hidden gem of the Eternal City: the splendid Sala Serianni of Palazzo Firenze in Rome, wonderful 16th-century hall created by the Mannerist painter Prospero Fontana.

Elvin Dhimitri
First violin of Opera and Lyric, has been recognized as an artist who manages to blend passionate energy and intense communication skills. In 1992 he was appointed first violin of the Bilkent Youth International Symphony Orchestra. He has performed within the Symphony Orchestra of the Ente Luglio Musicale Trapanese, the New Scarlatti Symphony Orchestra of Naples and the Toscanini Philharmonic of Parma, among others. In 1997 he was appointed first violin of the Rome Philharmonic Orchestra and, starting from the same year, he is a member of the Symphony Orchestra of Rome and Lazio 

Aleksandra Buczeck 
Aleksandra Buczek is a soprano of Polish and German nationality who was born in Silesia, Poland. She began her musical education at the age of eight, studying cello and piano, before going on to pursue musicology at the University of Wrocław. She later graduated with highest honors in operatic performance from the Wrocław Academy of Music. She is the winner of numerous national and international vocal competitions including awards in Italy, Germany, Poland and many more. Aleksandra is celebrated by leading critics as an artist of remarkable talent, renowned for her “deep, full-bodied voice and strikingly expressive tone.”
Her international career has taken her to many of the world’s most esteemed stages. In 2008 she appeared as Despina in Mozart’s “Così fan tutte” at the Bilbao Opera House in Spain. In 2011 she portrayed Violetta Valéry in Verdi’s “La Traviata” at the Ancient Greek Theatre of Taormina, the Teatro di Verdura in Palermo, and the Baltic Opera in Gdańsk. She returned to Mozart in 2015 to sing Donna Anna in “Don Giovanni” for the Perugia Music Festival, and that same year made her debut at the Staatstheater Nürnberg in Germany as Roxana in Szymanowski’s “King Roger”. With the Szczecin Opera she gave a widely praised performance as Amina in Bellini’s “La Sonnambula”, earning acclaim from both audiences and critics. Her interpretation of the Queen of the Night in Mozart’s “Die Zauberflöte” marked her debut at Poland’s foremost opera house, the Grand Theatre - National Opera in Warsaw. She also joined the “Strauss Gala” tour in China, performing for audiences in Beijing, Shenzhen, and Guangzhou. In collaboration with the Wrocław Opera, she recorded a DVD of Szymanowski’s “King Roger”, directed by acclaimed Polish filmmaker Mariusz Treliński. The recording went on to win the “Fryderyk”, Poland’s most prestigious music award.


Emil Alekperov   
He graduated at the “Academy of Lyric Art” in Osimo studying with the famous teachers S. Segalini, M. Melani, R. Kabaivanska, E. Ferrari and A. Juvarra. He participated in the International Festival “Valle d’Itria” in Martinafranca for three consecutive editions acquiring his first theatrical experience, performing in various operas, including “Macbeth” of G. Verdi, “The Last Day of Pompei” of G. Pacini and the “King” of U. Giordano. He performed in the operas: “Don Giovanni” and “The Magic Flute” by Mozart, “The Barber of Seville” and “La Cenerentola” by Rossini,
“Don Pasquale” and “Elisir d’amore” by Donizetti, “Falstaff” and “La Traviata” by G. Verdi, “Pagliacci” by R. Leoncavallo. From 2001 to 2011 he was a member of the “Society of Italian Operetta”. From 2010 Emil started performing in Argentina, Paraguay, Colombia, Ecuador and other countries.
